Brock Lotus is a Sheriff for the Banshee County Sheriff Department, which is located in the town of Banshee, Pennsylvania, USA. He is the longest serving member of the department. He was initially resentful of Hood, due to being passed over for the position of Sheriff.
Personality[]
Brock is a native of Banshee and he graduated from Banshee High School. At some point in his life he became a Deputy Sheriff for the Banshee County Sheriff´s Department. He is the longest serving member in the department who is desperately trying to fight crime and corruption in Banshee, mainly by trying to arrest Kai Proctor and shutting down his criminal enterprises.
However his obsession of catching Proctor cost him his marriage with Emily Lotus who eventually cheated on him. They have a brief sexual relationship in season 3.
Brock had always been a 'by the book' cop who just wanted to uphold the law and do what was right. When Hood becomes the Sheriff of Banshee he strongly dislikes him because of his reckless behavior and disregard for the rules. He often clashes with Hood because the latter refuses to explain his actions to anyone else. However they do seem to have some respect for each other as Hood has given his badge to Brock whenever he has left to deal with his personal issues and Brock has acknowledged that sometimes Hood´s methods are necessary for getting results.
When Hood decides to quit his job as the sheriff, Brock finally achieves his life long dream of becoming the Sheriff of Banshee.
