Hood is being lead in handcuffs into an interrogation room by an officer and Detective Bonner arrives with coffee for the both of them. As he prepares for the interrogation Agent Racine is seen watching through the two-way mirror as both men sit down. Detective Bonner begins building rapport with Hood by offering him coffee and uncuffing him. Detective Bonner introduces himself as the leader of the team that apprehended him while Hood sarcastically congratulates him. Detective Bonner explains that while other cops operate either with the threatening or friendly demeanor, he won't be either of those cops. He just wants a quick and painless conversation all the while explaining that Hood has no record in anyone's system and theorizes that Hood worked for a government's special forces. Detective Bonner informs him that his employer gave him up while Hood denies working for anyone. Detective Bonner than plays the tape of the 911 call while Hood silently listens in shock. As Detective Bonner leaves Hood to take this in, he reveals that the call came in long before they committed the crime.
